Luo Zhaohui enthusiastically congratulated Rania on her new appointment, thanking her for taking the time to attend the forum and delivering a keynote speech at the Global South Modernization Sub-forum. He noted that in recent years, Sino-Egyptian cooperation in development has yielded significant results, acting like a "divine assist" that greatly advanced the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. Luo expressed China's willingness to work "shoulder to shoulder" with Egypt to actively implement the important consensus of the two countries' leaders, expand cooperation in green development, healthcare, connectivity, human resource training, and desertification prevention, and particularly accelerate "debt-for-development" cooperation, thus enriching the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
Rania responded with "a compliment in return," expressing gratitude for China's long-standing support and assistance to Egypt's economic and social development. She emphasized that Egypt is willing to actively participate in and support the Global Development Initiative, implement the strategic consensus of the two countries' leaders, deepen cooperation in various fields, and achieve common development.
During the meeting, the two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on specific cooperation projects, culminating in the signing of development cooperation documents.
